Prague Ruzyně international airport handles flights of most European carriers and also some overseas flights. It is located 30-45 minutes by car from the centre of Prague.
A direct bus No. 119 goes from the metro stop Dejvická directly to the airport. A ticket for 26 CZK can be purchased in a yellow machine or in a newsstand.
All registered participants are requested to wear their name badges at all times. Only delegates wearing their name badges will be admitted to the symposium venue.
Every participant of the symposium will receive a certificate which will be available at the registration desk.
Between the sessions, coffee breaks will be served to all delegates wearing their name badges in a Night study room (Noční studovna).
The Czech crown (CZK, Kč) is the official currency of the Czech Republic. Exchange of foreign currency is available at the airport, most hotels, banks and exchange offices. International credit cards are accepted for payments in hotels, restaurants and shops. Payment in cash in EUR is also available in some restaurants and shops, please ask for details on-site.
The Czech Republic uses a 220 volt 50 Hz system, sockets have the European standard and plugs are three-prong grounded.
The venue of the Gala dinner is Restaurant CHARMANTIN located at the PPF Gate glass building next to the Diplomat Hotel. A buffet consisting of mainly Czech cuisine will be served from 20:00. The restaurant is non-smoking.

By registering for the Symposium, participants agree that neither the Organising Committee nor the Symposium Secretariat assume any liability whatsoever. The organizers will not be responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings.
Wi-Fi connection should be available in all areas of the library.
The official language of the Conference is English. Simultaneous interpretation will not be provided.
Lunch is not included in the registration fee. The cafeteria at the library offers cold snacks, there are several restaurants within walking distance from the library serving daily menu.
Participants are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones in the off position in the meeting room while sessions are being held.
The library offers its own underground parking, the entrance is under entrance NTK3 and the cost is 30 CZK per hour. Please note that the exit from the parking is outside the building.
The dimensions of poster desks are 100 cm (width) and 180 cm (height). To fit your posters without problems, please make sure that the maximal size of the poster is 95 cm (width) x 100 cm (height).
The library is located within walking distance from public transportation stops - metro Dejvicka (green line A, final stop) or several trams from the centre (No. 2, 8, 20, 36). 26 CZK transferable tickets can be purchase in yellow machines or in a newsstand.
All sessions will be held at the Balling Hall (Ballingův sál) of the NTK. It is not allowed to take photos or make audiovisual recording of the sessions.
Most shops in the city centre are open from 8:00 to 20:00 Monday through Sunday.
For the comfort and healh of all participants, smoking is not permitted at any official function.
In the city centre, taxis can be hailed from the street but we strongly recommend to use hotel taxis or to call taxi by phone through the radio taxi service.

The Czech Republic is on Central European Time - Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) plus 1 hour. From April to October is summer time, i.e. GMT + 2 hours.
Service is usually included in the bill in bars and restaurants but tips are welcome. If you consider the service good enough to warrant a tip, we suggest about ten percent.
